We'd rather publish fewer, better-reviewed guides than chase every keyword. Every flagship guide is reviewed for accuracy before it publishes, and we show the reviewer's name and credentials, along with the guide's published and last-updated dates, on the guide itself.
Health, medication, and emergency-care content is reviewed by a veterinary reviewer. Behavior and training content is reviewed by a certified cat behavior consultant. Every reviewer's name and credentials are shown on the guide or resource they reviewed.
Factual and medical claims are sourced to credible references — organizations such as the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and ASPCA, peer-reviewed literature, or our named reviewers' professional judgment. We don't source claims from other blogs or unverified forum posts.
We write to inform, not to alarm. We don't use fear-based headlines or manufacture urgency to drive clicks or sales — we state risk factually and point you to the next clear step.
Guides are reviewed for freshness at least once a year. Anything time-sensitive — vaccine schedules, pricing, product recommendations — is reviewed at least every six months. Every guide and resource shows when it was last updated.
If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, tell us and we'll review it. Meaningful corrections are reflected in the guide's “last updated” date.
